To launch the new iPhone 16 Pro at the center of culture, Apple partnered with The Weeknd to capture his latest music video on the new device. The goal was to showcase pro features in a cinematic format worthy of cultural conversation. With a week-long rollout that engaged his deep fan base and climaxed with the album release, we generated 75% more PR mentions of iPhone than the previous year’s launch.
